Switchback Brewery to host Weekend full of
ART-tivities for This Year’s Art Hop
Burlington, VT – The Switchback Brewery is set to host a weekend full of happenings over this year’s Art Hop, Friday September 11th – Sunday September 13th, including a Friday night warehouse party, visual art, brewery tours, and more!
Friday Night Warehouse Party
Kicking the weekend off on Friday night the Burlington based brewery will open its docks for the general public. From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. hoppers are encouraged to stop by the brewery for a warehouse party featuring live music by rock trio Zephrus! Zephrus is an experimental rock band, comprised of epic instrumentals and deep-track originals with strong vocal harmonies, and evoking sounds inspired by classic rock, jam bands, Latin jazz and folk music. Cold Switchback brews will be pouring both in the Tap Room and on the brewery floor and the Southern Smoke Food Truck will be on site serving up delicious BBQ.
Brews, Brewers’ Art, and Beyond
All weekend long the Tap Room will be serving up a diverse lineup of ales and lagers straight from the cellar including classics like the Switchback Ale & Märzen Fest Bier along with some new exclusive brews such as our Connector IPA, SwitchBOCK, and Export Stout. Brewer artwork will be on display for the entire weekend featuring industry inspired photography, paintings, illustrations, and more. Steven Brook’s outdoor Sturgeon sculpture is also a must see over the weekend, located outside in front of the Tap Room entrance. As always, Switchback Brewers will lead guided tours through our facility on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., please call ahead to reserve your spot.
